In little over two months time, the ‘Bike Hall Contest, No.8‘ will take place in ‘Trutnov’ (Czech Republic) – An event, which will see hundreds of crazy insane (and insane crazy!) bikers (both Mtb and BMX) battle it out! As usual, the athletes will be in with a shot of taking home a winning cheque – And you know what they say; Fortune Favours the Brave! So if your planning to go and spectate, don’t go dropping your popcorn! Side events include the ‘G-Shock Flatland Competition’- Which may prove to be the highlight of 2012, for European flatlanders!
Below is a video of last years bike hall contest, produced by Dartmoor Bikes…

As you may well of heard elsewhere, The ‘Baltic Games‘ (2012) is steadily approaching. For those who have not yet heard, the Baltic Games is the biggest event of its kind in Poland - And for that matter, one of the bigger extreme events in Europe. This year the event is being moved indoors, which will allow more spectators to view the games – And if the past events are anything to go by, this years events will be absolutely wild! One of last years bangers was pulled by the UK’s very own Scott Hamlin - A double backflip – Make that the first double back flip Poland had ever seen! Below is a short video of the 2011 games, filmed and edited by Ryys…

You simply must check it out! The video below is the most recent video to drop on the Simple Session Vimeo Channel…

… Oh yeah, you will of course get to witness some of the Dartmoor Riders shredding, if you choose to attend this years event!
I just found this new vid over on the ‘Dartmoor Bikes Facebook Page‘ – It features the latest edition to the Dartmoor BMX team, Mr Viktors ’Dzu’ Kronbergs!!! Yes, that’s right, the wild Latvian rider is in da house!!! Viktors is hard as nails and he showed this during the last Baltic Games, where he ended up nabbing 8th place! Viktors will be using the ‘Dartmoor Nami II’ for his ‘Welcome to Dartmoor Bikes’ edit – Stay tuned, Ya’ll!
Here at Dartmoor UK we’re always happy to promote new BMX ventures – Whether it’s a BMX event, a new skatepark or even a change in the layout of a skatepark! In short, you want it promoting? Email it through and we’ll do our best to host it. On this occasion we have some news about the Boneyard Skatepark - The Boneyard is a legendary skatepark, based in Cheshire, which has served BMX’ers (and skaters, etc) for decades.
In recent times the Boneyard has gone through a fairly intensive overhaul – The results, brilliant! It amazes me how the owners of this place have the energy to keep this place constantly evolving. Wanna see some action? Check the latest promo by Andrew Lawrence: http://vimeo.com/36230655. So there you go, you’ve seen the photos, you’ve watched the movie, now go check out the new BONEYARD WEBSITE!!
This time we have a bit of skatepark news! And yes, the rumours are true! Deeside now homes a brand new skatepark, located at Deeside Leisure Centre (Queensferry). If the photos are anything to go by, this place will be a blast to ride! Scroll down for photos and entrants information…
